Ingredients

- Eggs: 3

- Sugar: 1 cup

- Oil : 1/3 cup

- Vanilla extract : 1/4 tsp

- Coconut powder: 1/2 cup

- All purpose flour: 2 cup

- Baking powder: 2 tsp
- yogurt or milk: 2/3cup
Instructions

- Preheat the oven to 360 F, grease pan and put aside .

- combine flour and baking powder in a medium bowl and set aside .

- Beat eggs with vanilla in a mixer until it become fluffy .

- Add sugar half of the cup at the time and mix until completely dissolved and look whipped., mix with the medium speed of your mixer .

- Now, add oil and mix it for 1 minute after that add yogurt and mix it again for another 1 minute.

- In this step, sift flour in the mixture gradually .

- Stir in coconut powder and continue to whisk until well mixed .

- Transfer the batter to a nonstick cookie pan and spread across to cover pan’s surface .

- Place it to preheated oven at 360 F for 20 -25 minutes or until toothpicks inserted in center comes out clean .

- Remove the cake from oven and allow it to cool down thoroughly .

- Cut the cake in traditional parallelogram shapes and speared the hot syrup over the surface of the cakes. there is link below for the syrup recipe .

- Set the cake aside for 10 minutes until the syrup sunk in thoroughly .
- Garnish each piece with a pinch of ground pistachio or coconut powder or almond .
